Application Instructions

Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Tap water use: Minerals and chlorine leave white deposits in grooves.
- Wrong alcohol concentration: Below 90% leaves sticky residue.
- Over-concentrating: More alcohol does not clean better. It dries out vinyl.
- Rinsing after: Introduces new contaminants. Proper solution needs no rinse.
- Using paper towels: Fibers scratch grooves. Use microfiber only.
Shelf Life Calculator
Mixed solution lasts 2-3 weeks at room temperature. Alcohol evaporates through plastic slowly. Higher proof alcohol lasts longer. Store in glass for extended shelf life.

Before You Mix
Check that your ingredients are fresh. Old alcohol may contain water. Distilled water should be clear with no particles. Clean your mixing container thoroughly. Residual soap or oils ruin solutions.
Test new mixtures on one record first. Wait for complete drying before playing. If sound improves, you have a safe formula.
